Music Workshop - Preparing for Success
We signed AJ up on this workshop which was held on 1st Dec 2013. This workshop was about stage etiquette, particularly in stage performances.
As we have also paid for a recital session, AJ played Sonata in C by Haydn (Hob XVI:35).
The workshop gave us an idea how to prepare him for performances & competitions. Some things need to be enforced during daily practice. Like what Jun Hong said, "Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect."
The 3 coaches were Wang Ya-Hui, who is a Vice President of Radio Symphony 92.4FM & an award-winning conductor; Abigail Sin who is an award-winning Singaporean concert pianist. She was hailed by TIME Magazine as a bona fide prodigy & one of Asia's Small Wonders when she was ten years old; & Loh Jun Hong, an up & rising Singaporean violinist.

ReplyDeleteThanks Coco for yr compliment & thanks for popping by.
DeleteGreat photos. Only perfect practice makes perfect, but the attempts to reach those heights help the performer along the way. What a wonderful venture you're going on with your son. http://t.co/0lUih6v7U4
