ABRSM Grade 5 Piano Exam
Indeed we should be grateful for this result. Frankly, I have never expected that. AJ has not turned 6, his fingers are small & weak, & he could not even reach the pedal yet. Given these constraints, even with much hard work put in in preparation for this exam, I would be happy to see a merit.
The Lord is good, He has blessed AJ with such good results that brought me speechless. We are also thankful that he has a very good teacher, teaching him the technicality of music, stressing to him the importance of using finger strength not arm strength, teaching him the dynamics of each song, etc.
We do not know how far he can go, what we do know is that he should go as far as possible since he has the gift of music. May the good Lord guides his footsteps.
