Gaston Luga is a Swedish backpack retailer (primarily) from Stockholm Their range of backpacks and bags are of a sleek, stylish, and minimalist design that the young and hippy would love. I have been using Gaston Luga's backpacks since 2017. Three months back, Gaston Luga launched Spläsh, a weather-proof backpack that is great for outdoor activities and gym.
Spläsh measures 38 x 27 x 11.5 (cm) and weighs 800g. It is made with premium, easy to clean waterproof Polyurethane material. Though it is meant to fit 11"-13" laptops, I could fit in AJ's 15" Macbook easily.
Spläsh has an adjustable roll-top flap to increase the space inside the bag in case you have more things to put. The 2 tab buttons on the sides serve to expand the thickness of the bag as well. Unlike the usual backpack of Gaston Luga, Spläsh does not have a small slip pocket on the back of the bag. Instead, it has 2 zipper pockets on the sides of the front. These pockets serve to insert flat items like cards, tissue paper, wet wipes, sanitizer, etc. The shoulder stripes are gently padded, which are more comfortable on the shoulder.
This range comes in six distinct colors - Black, Grey & Black, Mustard Yellow & Black, Olive & Black, White & Black, and Black and Brown. Spläsh lets you show your style wherever you go, whatever the weather.
Maintaining Spläsh is easy as you only need to wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do note that, because it is made of Polyurethane (PU) material, thus makes it waterproof, the bag should be kept in a well-ventilated area when not in use.
