The Great Moscow Circus Is Back (Humans Only)!
[Media Invite]
The Great Moscow Circus is back to Singapore after over 10 years, with over 45 performers – acrobats, clowns, jugglers and daredevils. These circus stars are renowned worldwide for their theatrical flair and breath-taking talents.
Circus is a centuries-old art, one that amuses while touching a sensitive nerve. In many ways, the circus stars risked their lives to entertain us, to make us happy. These artists (may I call them) are trained at a very young age, with this 'life-long career in mind'. They train every day, alone and together as a tightly-knitted community, to bring us the best show within their capabilities. I told AJ that he has to respect these people, for their grit and determination. No doubt that ticket pricing could be high at times, that is also because of the high operating costs and the number of mouths to feed.
We are thankful to be invited to watch The Great Moscow Circus yesterday. We have heard many positive reviews about it!
The 2.5-hours show has a no-frills set-up: plastic chairs, non-carpeted flooring and minimal stage design. Yet, once the show starts, you'll know there is no lack of talented performers who really put in their best effort to give us the best entertainment in a plain, sincere manner.
You may have heard about the world’s most dangerous and death-defying acts that the performers at The Great Moscow Circus put up, including the Wheel of Death and the Motorbike Sphere of Fear. Yet, when these performers are not performing heart-pounding, gravity-defying stunts, there are other performers on the ground performing more light-hearted tricks and gimmicks that tickles our funny bones. There is a pretty good balance here.

Are you itching to book your tickets now? Here are some handy tips you may like to know when watching The Great Moscow Circus:
1. 25% Discount Till 13 Nov
From now till 13 Nov, you'll get to enjoy 25% off on all shows! So hurry, book now!
2. Have a Good Dinner
Have a good meal before the show because no outside food and beverages are allowed to be brought in. You can only buy soft drinks, mixed nuts, popcorns and candy floss in the premise.
3. Clear Your Bowel
Although the setting isn't big, do expect a queue at the portable toilets during intermission. So, it may be good to visit the toilet first before the show.
4. Best Seating Category
The best category is D, while E and C are quite good too.
5. Brollies and Sweaters
It is the rainy season this period, so you might like to keep brollies in your bag in case it rains before or after the show. The Big Top is leak-proof, of course, but bear in mind you have to walk in the open space to get into the Big Top. Also, it might get a little chilling if it rains.
6. Cameras and Videos
Yes, you may be delighted to know you can take photos and videos throughout the show, but without flash, please. And do share your exciting videos and photos with your friends in social media too!
After Thought:
The show is awesome from start to end and it does not even have to involve death-defying stunts for all of us to break into thunderous applause. Yes, there are misses in those stunts but that is really human, isn't it? I admire the courage of them who are willing to risk their lives to put up their best. I am not expecting zero errors, I am expecting jaw-dropping acts without major accidents, get it? The Great Moscow Circus is truly a show not to be missed. I honestly think you should watch it yourself because words simply can't describe how spectacular it is.
