Fusion Suites Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam)

[Sponsored Review]

Where to stay in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) is a challenging question. Those 4-star hotels in District 1 (Central Business District) are very expensive, despite it (HCM) being a developing city with relatively weak currency. Any hotels out of district 1 can be far away from most of the places of interest. Fortunately, there are new budding hotels that are new (of course), nice, comfy and kind to our pocket, Fusion Suites Saigon is one of them.

Opened in June 2016, Fusion Suites Saigon sits in the center of the city and close to all major tourist attractions, this all-suite property boasts a minimalistic, modern design with a Fusion signature wellness philosophy.

Before you enter the hotel lobby, look up.

The hotel is full of motivational messages like this one.

This is the lobby cafe, next to the reception.

Very nice deco.

Our daily breakfast is at the rooftop, not here. But we have eaten once here, the food was decent.

Fusion Suites Saigon has a range of 71 suites with all the in-room facilities expected from a city hotel, with the added convenience of a fully integrated kitchenette, which is perfect for couples, families or people on the move. All rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, thus offering plenty of natural light and views to the city or across the park.

All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge and cutlery. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available throughout the hotel.

Our Room - Family Suite

The right of the bed is the entrance; the left of the bed is the bathroom

The functional kitchenette greeted us once we opened the door to our family suite

The open-concept wardrobe is opposite the kitchenette

A sofa at the end of the bed for reading or watching TV programmes

Beside the bed is a small table

Where AJ was standing is the adjoining room where the bunk bed is

The adjoining room

The bathroom in the family suite is HUGE!
It is bigger than some common bedroom in our new condos in Singapore.

The bath tub that AJ loves to soak in everyday

My Sister's Room - The Double Room

The layout is pretty much the same as the Family Suite except there is no adjoining room and the bathroom is smaller

There is no bath tub in the bathroom of the Double Room

The wellness approach of Fusion Suites Saigon is what really sets it apart from others. For every night stayed, guests will receive a tailor-made spa treatment. The Spa therapy rooms are conveniently located on each guest room floor and are exclusively available to in-house guests. We had our daily massage during our stay there of course.

We also checkout the Sauna and Gym, and we love the space and the facilities!

I know right?

A reminder to self

The Zen Cafe at rooftop is the place we had our daily breakfast. It is a really nice cosy place. The spread of food was not wide, but good enough to have us eating the same spread on rotation for 3 days. There is an Al fresco dining option, but we, being Asians, have enough of the sun lah.

Not forgetting a daily dose of authentic  Vietnamese Coffee!

The Fusion Suites Saigon offers comfortable stay at very reasonable price. Every now and then, the hotel throws in some irresistible offer. Beside checking out online hotel booking portals for rates, do check out directly from hotel's website as well. Currently, the hotel is offering 30% off when you stay 2 nights or more!

  4. Wow! The room looks huge, clean and absolutely spacious. When travelling with young kids, I am constantly on a lookout for hotels/service apartments that comes with a little kitchenette because it just makes life easier if I can just prepare food for the young one so this room is great! Kinda making me rethink about going to HCM.
