Turning 7

The boy is turning 7. The number 7 is a number so often mentioned in the Bible, so often a blessed number, a divine perfection.  The scripture is so saturated with the number 7.

The Lord made the universe in 6 days & rested on the 7th (Genesis 2:2 ).
There are 7 colours in the rainbow.
Jacob served Laban for 7 years in order to marry Rachel (Genesis 29)
The wall of Jericho fell on the 7th day of marching at the 7th round (Joshua 6)
The Lord told us to forgive anyone who offended you 70 x 7 times (Matthew 18:22)

Because it is 7, it deserves a decent celebration?  Well, we did give him a series of activities, partly because there has been a series of no-school days in October & November

First, the mother here brought him to Hong Kong for a 5D/4N theme parks trip during middle of October (Primary School Leaving Examination marking days).  It was solely for him with no personal shopping planned.

Then, we had a barbeque party for him, inviting some of his friends who live nearby on 3rd November.

Today, we brought him to eXplorerkid to play in the indoor playground.

Finally, on his actual birthday day, we planned to bring him to the Zoo.

Seems like an elaborated celebration?  Not exactly.  It is just so happened that there were many ad-hoc school holidays in October & November, we just planned the activities around those days.  I will be blogging on those activities soon, stay tuned.
